Microsoft Edge For Android – Initial Impressions

Hey whats-up guys welcome to Sid Tech, Microsoft Edge For Android  is now available on Google Play store as beta version. Let’s have a look at the browser. Edge comes with this clean UI just like we have seen on the Windows 10 version. By default Bing is the search engine but you can easily change it to Google or Yahoo.

You can synchronize your history, bookmarks and reading list across device and it is working pretty well here. One thing which is not working right now on my device the continue on PC feature. If you are a Windows Insider and have the Windows 10 Fall Creators update this feature will work.

With this you can start on Edge for Windows from the same place where you left on Edge for Android. As it is using Chrome’s Blink engine for Android the performance here is pretty good. As it is currently under beta we cannot say much about the  performance but right now it is at par with the chrome for Android.

I personally use Chrome on my Windows machine and this is the only reason I prefer it on Android but the looks like Edge on Android will be the perfect choice for those who use Microsoft edge on their Windows Machine. Will you use Edge on your android device let me know in the comments below and stay tuned to Sid Tech for latest tech news, reviews and daily deals.
