Microsoft Edge Browser Is Now Available On Android – Beta Available On Play Store

Last week, We told you that Microsoft is launching Microsoft Edge Browser on Android and iOS. And now you can download the beta version for Android via the Google Play store.

If you use Microsoft Edge on your Desktop/Laptop as your default browser this is great as you will be able to sync your bookmarks, history, reading list etc across devices. One thing to note here is that it is not using the core EdgeHTML rendering engine on iOS and Android version. It will use Chrome’s Blink engine for Android.

One of the best feature about the new browser is that you can continue a webpage from your laptop or desktop. You can tap on continue on PC to show webpage on your PC. But for now this will work only for those who have Fall creators update on their computer.

And as it is still in beta, only Windows insiders will be able to use this feature. So we were not able to test it out. Overall the browser seems fast and responsive even in the beta version. Syncing is also working pretty well till now as we have tried bookmarking pages and it went well.
