OnePlus 5T New York City, Nokia 5 3GB RAM, Amazon Prime Music India #38 Tech Updates


Hey, whats-up guys welcome to the 38th episode of the tech updates let’s get started. After confirming that they are all set to launch their next flagship killer, OnePlus has now dropped a hint on the launch location. Oneplus yesterday tweeted a picture of a street in new york city saying ” Guess which city we’re going to party in for the #OnePlus5T launch! “, confirming the launch at New York City. The smartphone is expected to be launched on 16th or 20th November.

The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage OnePlus 5T is expected to sport a 6.0.1 inch full HD + AMOLED 18:9 aspect ratio display. Earlier this year Amazon launched it’s Prime Video service in India at an introductory price of ₹499 per year only. It is one of the cheapest video streaming service available and you also get other benefits like one-day delivery and special deals with this membership.

Now Amazon India is all set to launch another service in that ₹499 per month only which is now ₹999 for new subscribers. Amazon Prime music is coming to India which will provide millions of ad-free songs with your prime membership. Amazon says it will include songs in multiple Indian languages, it will be interesting to see what collection this service will provide and will it be able to compete with homegrown Saavan and Ganna. At a price of ₹999 Amazon definitely, is giving a lot.

HMD Global owned Nokia has launched the 3GB RAM variant of the Nokia 5 in India today. The smartphone is priced at 13,499 and will be exclusively available via Flipkart starting tomorrow 7th November midnight. You can also buy it via offline retailers starting 14th November.

It will be available in Matte Black and Tempered Blue color variants. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 128GB.

Panasonic has launched another smartphone under its Eluga A series called the Panasonic Eluga A4. The smartphone is priced at ₹12,490 and is available via offline retailers across India. It comes in Champagne Gold, Mocha Gold, and Blue color variants. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 128GB.

It sports a 5.2 inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass protection on top. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and houses a massive 5,000 mAh battery It provides one of the biggest battery among its competition and will face a tough competition from the 8 months old Redmi Note 4 and Moto G5 lineup.

Gionee is all set to launch 8 new smartphones with a bezel-less display on 26th November. The event will be held in Shenzhen China, Gionee has shared an official invite on Weibo. The event will be live streamed in China via Shenzhen Satellite TV. The invite shows 8 different smartphones with a few design changes but all of them sports an 18:9 bezel-less display. According to a report by Android Headlines,

These 8 smartphones are called Gionee F6, Gionee M2018, Gionee S11, Gionee S11 Plus and Gionee M7 Plus. The Gionee M2018 and Gionee M7 Plus will be the top end flagship smartphones with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage  The Gionee S11 Plus will sport a 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display and will be powered by the MediaTek MT6737 processor.
