E-commerce giant Flipkart is all set to launch its first smartphone under its Billion brand. The smartphone is called Billion Capture+ and will go on sale via Flipkart on 15th November. the smartphone comes with unlimited cloud storage just like we have seen on Nexbit Robin. The dual camera smartphone will sport a Full HD display, a rear placed fingerprint scanner and will run on Android Nougat out of the Box.
Along with some decent specs, Flipkart is also going to use its 130 service centers in 125 cities as a big advantage as service quality is a big issue for new smartphone brands. Will Flipkart be able to utilize the customer trust the company has gained over the year?
Or will it get lost between brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus and Samsung? What do you think? OnePlus is all set to launch it’s next smartphone next week called the OnePlus 5T. The company is constantly giving hints about the device and in the latest post OnePlus, CEO Pete Lau talked about wireless charging and company’s dash charge feature.
He said that OnePlus 5T won’t support wireless charging and gave some valid reasons for it. First being the technical reason, OnePlus dash charge uses 20W of power to deliver charging while the standard wireless charges support only 15W, which is a limitation. He also said that wireless charging is not that convenient as you cannot take a picture or play games while your device is charging which can be done using a traditional charger. According to him, wireless technology needs to develop more and only then it will be able to replace the tradition charging.
OnePlus 5T will be priced in India at ₹32,999, which is same as the OnePlus. This will result in a price drop on the OnePlus 5. One of the most popular messaging app Snapchat went public earlier this year but 2017 haven’t been a great year for the company as it’s Facebook-owned rival Instagram showed a rapid growth in the year 2017. Instagram is doing it better and Snapchat has now realized that as Evan Spegel CEO, Snapchat revealed that they will make efforts to make Snapchat better and easier to use for its users. This will require a new UI which will be simple to use and will provide more functionality.
