Xiaomi last week launched its next entry-level smartphone called the Xiaomi Redmi 5A. The smartphone is priced at ₹4,999 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage for the first 5 million units and at ₹5999 after that. The 3GB RAM and 32GB storage at ₹6,999. It will be available via Flipkart and Mi.com at 12 Noon on 7th December, Today and also at Mi Home stores.
The 3GB RAM and 32GB storage at ₹6,999. The smartphone is powered by the 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 128GB.
It sports a 5 inch HD display and comes with a reading mode. It comes with a 13MP rear camera: f/2.2 aperture, 5-element lens and PDAF for fast focusing and a 5MP front camera: f/2.0 aperture, Smart, and pro beautify features. The dual sim smartphone houses a 3,000 mAh battery.
