HTC is all set to launch a new smartphone on 15th January 2018 in China. The company has teased the launch via a Weibo post saying to keep your eyes open and to save the date. Which hints at an HTC EYE device. But thanks to famous tipster Evan Blass we know it is the HTC U11 EYEs.
According to Evan, the HTC U11 EYEs will be priced at CNY 3,299 around ₹32,400 and will launch on 15th January. The smartphone will be available in Black, Silver, and Red color variants and will come with dual front camera setup as shown in the image. It will also be IP67 dust and water resistant.
The HTC U11 EYEs will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It will come with 64GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD. The smartphone will sport a 6-inch full HD+ super LCD3 Display with 18:9 aspect ratio as shown in the image.
The HTC U11 EYEs will run on Android Nougat out of the box and will also come with HTC’s edge sense UI. It will house a decent 3930mAh Battery will have a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the back just below the single rear camera setup.
