Samsung Galaxy S9 With Super Speed Camera With Variable Apertures Leaked

Samsung is all set to launch it’s next flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S9 next month at Mobile World Congress 2018. Samsung has confirmed the MWC 2018 launch and now we have leaked box of the upcoming smartphone. This alleged Galaxy S9 box reveals some important specifications of the device.

The biggest upgrade comes in terms of the camera, according to the image leaked on Reddit, Galaxy S9 will come with “Super Speed” camera which will come with varying apertures a there are two apertures mentioned- f/1.5 and f/2.4. This is similar to what Samsung has done with its W2018 flip phone smartphone.

The 12-megapixel rear camera will come with OIS and Super slow motion feature. The front camera comes with an 8-megapixel sensor and the smartphone is IP68 water and dust resistant. Galaxy S9 will sport a 5.8-inch 1440p SAMOLED Infinity display and will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

According to previous rumors, the Battery capacity on the two smartphones has been increased from their predecessors with Galaxy S9 have a 3,200mAh battery and Qualcomm quick charge support. Moving to the front, top and bottom chin is slightly thinner than the Galaxy S8 but there no big changes up front.

There will not be much difference between the Galaxy S9 and S9+ except the dual cameras and a slightly larger display. Both the smartphones will be running on the recently launched Snapdragon 845 processor and Samsung’s own Exynos 9810. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
