Lenovo owned Moto is all set to launch its upcoming lineup of Moto G and Moto E smartphones in coming months. We have already seen a few leaks about the upcoming Moto G6 and Moto E5 smartphones. Now according to the latest leak, we know that there is a Moto E5 Play model and how it looks.
Famous tipster Evan Blass shared two render images of the Moto E5 Play. The device looks similar to the previously leaked Moto E5 and this new leak doesn’t show the back of the device. Instead of the Moto branding now there is Motorola that too below the screen. Moto is not going for the popular 18:9 aspect ratio and chooses to stay with the 16:9 display, probably an HD display.
There is a single front-facing camera with LED flash for better low light selfies. The rear camera is also a single camera sensor with LED flash. The overall build is said to be metal but we cannot confirm it via the image but if Moto goes all metal it would be great. It will still be using the Micro-USB port for charging and data syncing.
Now coming to the launch date and expected pricing, Moto E4 was launched in June 2017. But the clock widget on the screen shows 3rd April. So we might see an April launch and we can expect Moto to price it around ₹7,499-9,499 around $120-$150. We hope that Moto dimple embedded fingerprint scanner is true and we see it in Moto G6 and other Moto smartphones of 2018 too. What do you think?
